SONIC THE HEDGEHOG

Well-known for his legendary speed, cocky attitude, easy-going demeanor, and somewhat short temper, yet strong sense of justice and love for freedom and adventure, Sonic uses his abilities to protect the innocents and his world (as well as many others) from the forces of evil, especially his arch-nemesis Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik who seeks to dominate the world. He is joined by his buddies Tails and Knuckles to stop Eggman's latest scheme.

MILES "TAILS" PROWER

Miles Prower is an 8 year-old yellow-orange, fox with two tails, hence his nickname "Tails." He is Sonic's best friend, sidekick, and an expert mechanic. He is able to use his two tails to travel at super speed as well as propel himself into the air like a helicopter. Tails & Sonic got attacked by Mecha Sonic 2.0, whom temporarily blew down the Tornado during one of their Flicky rescue missions.

KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA

Knuckles is a red 16-year-old echidna, who is both physically powerful and highly resilient. He is the last guardian of the Master Emerald- a powerful ancient relic which is his solemn duty to protect from anyone who wants to steal it. Knuckles is often tricked by Dr. Eggman into believing that Sonic is the bad guy. That causes them to get into fights and Sonic teases Knuckles whenever this happens. However, he has gotten better with this and is more aware of Dr. Eggman's plans. After witnessing Egg Robos abducting flickies on Angel Island, Knuckles sets off to find out what Dr. Eggman is planning, running into his pals Sonic & Tails along the way.

DR. IVO "EGGMAN" ROBOTNIK

An obese scientist with an IQ of 300 who dreams of dominating the world. Eggman's constant plots to create his Eggman Empire are endlessly thwarted by Sonic (his arch-enemy) and Sonic's friends. While his plans normally consist of building up an incredible army by turning animals into robots and using them to dominate the land. Lately, Eggman's schemes branched into much more global threats. While all his plans end in failure thanks to the continued efforts of Sonic and his friends, the mad doctor is always able to slip away from certain death or arrest and escape at the last moment, making him a constant threat to the universe and a thorn in Sonic's side. He is reunited with a new and improved Mecha Sonic, which he built from the scraps left in Sky Santuary, after Knuckles busted him up. His main goal is to get his new fortress: Project RAIDEN running using the help of the 7 chaos emeralds, and Mecha's new abilities.

MECHA SONIC 2.0

Mecha Sonic was an updated version of Eggman's original Metal Sonic. It was originally created to help Dr. Eggman carry out his Death Egg plot, but was destroyed by Knuckles on top of Sky Santuary. After having been left broken down in the ruins of the Santuary, Dr Eggman gathered all the scraps he could, and successfully built a new improved Mecha Sonic he now calls: Mecha Sonic 2.0. This version has several new features and upgrades such as the ability to shoot energy balls at will, without the help of the Master Emerald. Mecha is also able to harness the power of the chaos emeralds similar to Sonic, and become Super Mecha Sonic, where all of his powers are enhanced. Eggman is miraculously saved by Mecha at the last moment when Sonic & Tails attempted to rescue the Flickies he stole from Angel Island. He will need the help of Mecha in order to finish his new fortress, collect the chaos emeralds, and dominate the world.
